Kim woke up to the obnoxious "Braaap! Braaap!" of her alarm clock, and slapped the thing hard, making it sputter. "I've got to get a different alarm," she groaned as she hobbled out of her room and to the shower.

Crime had been quiet recently, and she was hoping for something more interesting than Bonnie being a total bitch would happen today.
