"Well, I guess you really don't have him..." you hear your mom above you. You start to despair, realizing you were about to be tormented under your sister's foot for even longer. It's slowly getting hotter as her foot warms up, and you can feel the sock dampening. "I'm sure he would have spoken up by now if you did, but..."
