The Discovery

No one is sure where it came from. There are rumors aliens forged it and left it behind thousands of years ago. Some believed a mad scientist invented it but it was too powerful and caused his downfall. While others preach the gods themselves once wielded the mighty device. All that is known is that this powerful object fell to earth and was lost in time. Until, by sheer coincidence, it found its way to a Hunter Academy called Beacon. A place where children are turned into warriors to fight the monsters called Grimm. Why it wasn’t destroyed by these monsters, will never be known. A Nevermore, the large bird like Grimm, might even have dropped it. None of that matters. All that matters is…

Who found it?

Ruby? The plucky young 15 year old girl who got into Beacon two years early with dreams of being a hero. A young goofy prodigy who wields a massive scythe.
