Behind a bar in LA

The meteor lands with a small crash behind a dive bar on the outskirts of LA. For a few hours as the sun sets, you wait for the meteor to crack open, before scuttling under a nearby dumpster. Sometime late in the night, a human approaches the dumpster with a bag of trash from the bar. As you leap at their mouth and squirm inside, shooting your tendrils into their mind, you find that your new body goes by....
