Tsukino is off to the Western Lands with Sesshomaru.
Tsukino woke up to someone shifting. Her eyes shot open. She saw a man through her blurred vision by the side of her bed getting dressed. She almost screamed until she yesterday came back in a flash. Misery hit her like a brick wall. Tsukino choked back tears as she got up and got dressed. Today she left for the Western Lands.

After a quick breakfast, all Tsukino belongings were loaded up on some sort of cart attached to an ugly double headed dragon named Ah-Un. Tsukino had her last teary goodbye with all her family and friends. She was going to miss this place.

Sesshomaru wrapped his long fingers around Tsukino’s waist and lifted her onto the dragon. They still hadn’t spoken a word to each other. Taka made a move to get on the dragon but Sesshomaru growled at her.

“Slaves walk!” he declared. Tsukino opened her mouth to say something but not before she remembered her place. She belonged to him now, and that meant that she had to listen to him. She gave Taka a sad look. Taka nodded back, she understood.

So off they went, starting the 3 day journey to the Western Lands. Tsukino started to feel bad for Taka because she could tell that Taka was getting tired. After all, Taka was only human and she wasn’t used to walking for so long. Tsukino wanted to ask for a rest so bad but she dare not anger her new husband. She was told he didn’t have any sympathy toward slaves.

Finally, when the sun was setting in the sky, Sesshomaru stopped. Taka nearly fell face first. She was beyond exhausted. They had skipped lunch and hadn’t stopped to rest once. Sesshomaru picked Tsukino up off the dragon and lightly placed her on the ground. He opened the basket of food that Kazumi had had put together for them. He made a small fire and started to cook some of the meat and vegetables. When the food was done they all ate in silence. Sesshomaru naturally gave Taka the least to eat. After they ate, Tsukino carried Taka to a nearby hot springs. Taka was feeling better but she was still pretty tired.

“I’m going back to camp to go to sleep,” Taka announced after she had finished bathing.

“Okay, I’m going to stay here for a while,” Tsukino replied. She loved to soak in the warm water. She sat on a nearby rock, sunk to her neck, and closed her eyes. Suddenly, she heard something entering the water. Her eye shot open to see Sesshomaru on the other side of the springs. The hair on the back of Tsukino’s neck stood up. He slowly made his way to her. She started to breath funny. This was only the second time she had been alone with a man. She didn’t move a muscle, hoping that somehow she could disappear and not have to be in this situation. She stared at his bare chest. It seemed to be perfect, smooth and sculpted. When he reached her, he ran his long fingernail down Tsukino’s cheek line.

“You’re innocent aren’t you?” Sesshomaru asked.

Tsukino didn’t answer. She was too scared. But the look in her eyes was answer enough.

Sesshomaru smirked as a chuckle escaped him. He grabbed Tsukino’s right wrist and pulled her to him. Tsukino gasped. She was surprised. Never had she been up against a naked man. This was all too new for her. His other hand slithered around her waist, holding her in place. Tsukino started to shake. He dropped he wrist and ran his hand down her hair. Her whole body was like silk. He had to kiss her. He looked into her eyes and saw her fear. His gaze softened, he lowered his head, and pressed his lips lightly unto hers. Tsukino stopped shaking and looked up at him. His gaze was soft, it was not the cold hard stare he usually had. He leaned down again, placing another light kiss on her lips. Her mouth opened and he took the opportunity to let his tongue enter. He tenderly explored the insides of her mouth. Tsukino felt a wave of heat curse through her body. She started to kiss him back. She shyly licked his tongue. He let out a low growl which sent another wave of heat through her body. What was this wave of heat she was feeling? He started to kiss her harder, pushing her backwards to the wall of the hot springs. One hand started to rub her waist while the other was making a trail up and down her arm. Tsukino started to feel hot. She wrapped her arms around him and held him close. She let out a slight moan. She felt something poke at her stomach but she didn’t care. She was too wrapped up in the moment to care about what it was. All of the sudden Sesshomaru let out a powerful growl and torn himself from her arms. She whimpered from the loss. What did she do? He took a step closer, kissed her on the forehead and got out. She was confused. She had never felt those sensations before. The waves of heat? And what was this thick cream coming from her most private area? She finished cleaning up and got out of the springs.

Tsukino returned to camp to find Taka fast asleep. Sesshomaru was sitting with his back to a tree. Tsukino went to go lie down on her mat until she heard a strong voice.

“Come here,” Sesshomaru demanded. Tsukino slowly walked towards him. She sat next to him and he spread a blanket over her. She was extremely tired and unknowingly rested her hear against his shoulder. He put his arm around her and she fell asleep.

Sesshomaru looked down at her. He felt a fondness towards her. She belonged to him now. His. He smirked.
