Everyone Has A Breaking Point And A Return From It
Breaking Point
10-7-2007

We all have our breaking point and usually more than one.
Each one seems to be the end, yet… somehow we go on.

We can totally wipe out and land on our ass. Go over the edge completely.
That one breaking point we can’t avoid.

The source of my relief is clouded beyond sight.
I must focus harder on the unseen, the never ending light.
It must begin within me; I need a change of insight.

I recognize a wind that can sweep me away without my consent,
The conclusion is there’s only so much I can control or prevent.
The power I have over me is so imagined so completely unreal

As I’m swept away off my feet and flying willy-nilly
I’m flying as free as my free floating thoughts.

You are always at the center of my deepest pain.
You are also the relief that brings me back again.
Is it possible you are my sickness and my remedy?

I believe in you. I trust you. What is the difference?

Love hurts. Love conquers all.
Love can shield us from pain; yet can be the cause of it as well.
It can prevent or compel a lashing out.
The threat queue, of pain and love
