Life is stranded
Sand crystals rest beneath my weary feet

Bested by hours of searching yet beheld defeat

Peace only found by those who passed the river styx

My fate is still unwritten as the block of writers proceeds

I feel as though my future is closed to the dredded islands plea

No assistance to be seen as laps add into indefinite measure

Nights grow long unlike the day

My sanity flees although I pray

No life seen as my own although there is yet something to be shown

Tainted whispers pierce the silence drawing deeper my own defiance

Cursing the heavens I go mad finding courage I believed to never had

Night will fall with harsh wings

Onto my spirit something clings

Something here there is not only myself destined to rot

Driven to this I write my own fate

The block is gone and my choice is made

Drifting through wind my end in motion

Silence broken by waves of ocean
