"What has happened to the Evening Star?  It appears brighter, yet distorted."

"As your Chief Observer predicted, Majesty, a dark body has struck the shining one.  It is brighter, because it is ablaze; it appears distorted, because it is now fragmented."

"Which body was it, again?"

"The blue one, third from our Home Star, Majesty."
