This is my take away of the 10 things successful do.
This is my take on the 10 things successful people live by:

1: They don't make excuses;
It is so easy to put the blame for a problem one may have on another person, on society or the way they were brought up but how much better one would be to just take note of all that and decide in oneself to not allow that and take charge of the situation and get it done.

2: Its not just about you;
A main point is we as a people have become self centered and egotistical. Sometime it is better to take yourself out of the equation and consider the other person.

3; Early mornings and late nights;
one must have a determination to accomplish  ones goals, if a person is not inclined to put the effort involved in a accomplishing this you will fail, this may entail many day and nights of hard work and study.

4; The greatest commodity / make training a routine part of life;
The greatest commodity can be determined as the human being and the human experience because that is what we are focusing on, people and what we can do to heightened the living experience. The mind feeds on what it is feed daily so to make training into a routine only sharpens the mind and we all know that where the mind leads the body follows.

5; Principles;
One should have clear moral principle that will guide you in time of doubt, depression. Good principles can keep you on the right path even when all else fails.Principles can be obtained from family or religion but it is imperative to obtain them because "if you don't stand for something you will fall for anything". When you have acquired them then you must live by them.

6; Develop an unbreakable Faith;
The dictionary says faith is the 'Belief that does not rest on logical proof or material evidence", the Bible says faith is the substance of thing hope for the evidence of things not seen". You must believe in yourself and that  God (infinite wisdom) will help.

7: Find a reason why;
To increase your determination find a reason why you want to accomplish or obtain your objective and focus all your will power to those ends.

8; Persevere when others quit;
You may have to start very slowly at first but sticking to a routine (#4) develops self discipline which lead to the accomplishment of ones goals. Two rule I use are (a)a quitter never wins and a winner never quits, (b) reach decisions promptly and change these decisions slowly, if at all.

9; Relentlessly study your craft;
I had a instructor once and his favorite line was practice, practice practice and when you think you got it down practice some more. There is much to be said about repetition.

10; Take risk- no guts, no glory;

This doesn't mean to take unnecessary dangers actions to achieve your goals but if a certain course of action is not working do some home work investigate new avenues and methods to acquire you object. YOU CANT KEEP DOING THE SAME THING AND EXPECT DIFFERENT RESULTS.
