I try to understand and keep on, keeping on..
For the love of God,
I will face another day
Assuming the position,
Taking time to pray.

For the love of God,
I will try to understand.
I will try to forgive
The hurts that life demand.

For the love of God,
There will be a peace within
Leading me to new hope
Casting out my sin.

For the love of God,
My heart now open can see
That all of life's trials
Will bring new faith to me.

He alone can save me
From lonliness and sin;
He alone stands knocking
And I - will let Him in.

For the love of God.
