For my blog "Prompt: Do you believe there are angels present in our world? Why or why not? Have you had a personal experience with one?"

I have never seen an angel or experienced one, but I know they exist because the Bible says so. I believe God uses angels to carry out His will, just as He uses man to do so. I believe angels have rescued me numerous times and have saved me from death numerous times.

One woman told of driving a mountain road during the winter. There was snow on the ground and she was sliding a lot. She looked and an angel was sitting on her hood. She drove the rest of the mountain. She slid a few times but never wrecked.

You are right. Princess Megan Rose GOT Fox . The Romulans never learn! I'm sure they'll come back for more. Tell Buck I said hi.

As far as finding my peace, I do that through my faith. I have found that there is nothing I can't face through Jesus Christ.

For my blog "Prompt: How much energy and effort am I putting into my relationship with God?"

This is a question I ask myself every day. I am a graduate student in what is considered the number one Christian college in the whole world: Regent University. I am now in the second semester of my second year. Part of the curriculum at the university is meant to hold students accountable to their relationship with God. Jesus Christ is the most important individual in my life. Even my future wife does not get placed above Him. I love Jesus Christ more than I love anybody on this planet. I am so grateful for everything He has done for me. He gave me birth in a country of nothing but opportunity. Everything I have ever needed has been at my disposal. My cup runs over.

Seaweed  (E)
Can't think of any reason why seaweed shouldn't have a poem about it.

I agree that seaweed should have a poem about it. After all, seaweed is the food source for one of the planet's biggest ecosystems. Why should it not have a poem. Seaweed is amazing in its strength and diversity.

I just returned from seeing the doctor regarding my left arm and hand. I will be having surgery on October 15, 2021. The doctor said it was have the surgery or lose the use of my left hand. The nerve is seriously compressed in my elbow. I will be fine though.

For my blog "Prompt: Have you ever felt God was silent or distant from you? Describe when. Tell about it."

I think we all have moments like that. They test our faith. Faith is more than a feeling. It is a deep conviction based on fact. The fact is that Jesus rose from the dead. Whether I "feel" His presence or not is insignificant. He promised never to leave or forsake us. When I don't feel Him I rest in that promise and know that He is still there.

Summer in the Midwest  (E)
Every self-respecting Midwesterner will understand.
#2229277 by Emily

I understand summer in the southwest. I spent the summer of 1979 at Ft. Bliss TX, just outside of El Paso. It was hotter than blazes! We literally had to wear gloves in order to touch the asphalt in our compound. Considering that we did a lot of exercises, particularly pushups, we found out really quickly that the asphalt could blister your hands. One day the heat was 118 degrees and we were ordered to take the day off. Of course, that was out on the outskirts in the Mojave.

For my blog "Prompt: Which is easier for you: to forgive someone or to ask for forgiveness?"

Both of these can be tough but to be honest I find I have a harder time asking for forgiveness than I do forgiving. The act of asking for forgiveness includes making amends. Amends come hard for me because it usually means I have to change some bad habit and habits are hard to break. It is even harder to admit that I am wrong. Doing so requires rigorous honesty. So asking for forgiveness means something in me needs to change and that change comes hard.

This reminded me of Frankenstein, sort of.
