👆If a man has assets worth Rs 18,000 crore, what can be his next dream in life?

After all, who doesn't dream of going to a small village in Tamil Nadu, teaching poor children and feeding them twice a day, playing cricket with the village children and drinking tea together on tapri ...

But the fragrance of our soil after years of tradition and culture led a man across the seas to dream like this, and the owner of a huge company in Silicon Valley, USA, came directly from California to a small village called 'Mathalamparai' in Tamil Nadu's Tenkasi district.
*Sridhar Vembu.*

Born into an ordinary Tamil family. From a student at IIT Madras to the owner of a large software company, Zoho Corporation, the CEO is now seen cycling through the small streets of Mathalamparai wearing a plain shirt and traditional white dhothi.

The experiment, which started with three children in free time during lockdown, has now grown to four teachers and 25 students.

But now it is not just an experiment, but a new 'educational startup' of *Sridhar Vembu*. This is slowly creating a model of providing free schooling and food to children, which will be something different than grades, marks, certificates ...

About a year and a half ago, Sridhar decided to move the company's head office to another location at a company meeting, and everyone was shocked to hear this. Because the office would not be in New York or Seattle, but in a small town called Mathalamparai in Tamil Nadu, India. He had already bought 4 acres of land there.

Accordingly, in October 2019, just over a year ago, Sridhar started *Zoho Corporation World Headquarters in Mathalamparai village* in Tenkasi district. Not only that, last year, the software development business surprised everyone with a record revenue of Rs 3,410 crore.

In fact, the decision to travel 13,000 kilometers from California to Mathalamparai did not come overnight. One boy had faithfully kept his word.

If Zoho Corp succeeds in business, he will invest heavily in the country and spend the company's profits to provide modern education to the children of the village, Sridhar had promised himself.

Riding your bicycle, playing with your little ones,
The new issue of life is living happily ...

According to Sridhar, in the next few years, it will create about 8,000 technology jobs in rural India and relocate global services to urban areas of the country.

Along with education, modern hospitals, sewerage systems, water, irrigation, markets and skill centers will be set up there ...

I don't know how many news channels across the country or their screaming anchors will talk about it, but the country is going to prosper because of such people ...!!

Are we earning to pay builders and interior designers, caterers and decorators?

Whom do we want to impress with our highly inflated house properties & fat weddings?

Do you remember for more than two days what you ate at someone's marriage?

Why are we working like dogs in our prime years of life?

How many generations do we want to feed?

Most of us have two kids. Many have a single kid.

How much is the "need" and how much do we actually "want"??
Think about it.

Would our next generation be incapable to earn, that we save so much for them!?!

Can not we spare one and a half days a week for friends, family and self??

Do you spend even 5% of your monthly income for your self enjoyment?
Usually...No.

Why can't we enjoy simultaneously while we earn?

Spare time to enjoy before you have slipped discs and large prostates.

We don't own properties, we just have temporary name on documents.

GOD laughs sarcastically, when someone says,
"I am the owner of this land"!!

Do not judge a person only by the length of his car.

Many of our science and maths teachers were great personalities riding on scooters!!

It is not bad to be rich, but it is very unfair, to be only rich.

Let's get a LIFE, before life gets us, instead....

One day, all of us will get separated from each other; we will miss our conversations of everything & nothing; the dreams that we had.

Days will pass by, months, years, until this contact becomes rare... One day our children will see our pictures and ask 'Who are these people?' And we will smile with invisible tears because a heart is touched with a strong word and you will say: 'IT WAS THEM THAT I HAD THE BEST DAYS OF MY LIFE WITH'.

Do you know that lions only succeed in a quarter of their hunting attempts — which means they fail in 75% of their attempts and succeeds in only 25% of them.

Despite this small percentage shared by most predators, they don't despair in their pursuit and hunting attempts.

The main reason for this is not because of hunger as some might think but it is the understanding of the “Law of Wasted Efforts” that have been instinctively built into animals, a law in which nature is governed.

Half of the eggs of fishes are eaten... half of the baby bears die before puberty... most of the world's rains fall in oceans... and most of the seeds of trees are eaten by birds.

Scientists have found that animals, trees, and other forces of nature are more receptive to the law of "wasted efforts".

Only humans think that the lack of success in a few attempts is failure... but the truth is that: we only fail when we "stop trying".

Success is not to have a life free of pitfalls and falls... but success is to walk over your mistakes and go beyond every stage where your efforts were wasted looking forward to the next stage.

If there is a word that summarizes this world, it will simply be: continue all over again.

Be Inspired

This is not a story of hope. This is a story about trust.

I woke up with a start yet again at 5 am, and without good reason. This is the way it is these days. For years, sleep has been peaceful and functional -- even when short -- eased by long days driven by passion and single-minded purpose. There was work, and then rest.

But now everything is unsettled, for all of us. And sleep has become the first casualty, an insomniac canary sounding alarm. Perhaps it’s the unremitting uncertainty. Perhaps it’s guilt one feels for all those who kept our work going in better times, with unhindered pace and unstinting dedication -- but now first victims of this ponzi scheme of misery that has entrapped us all.

The platitudes do little to help, either them or the work we do. ‘This too shall pass’... yes, but at what price and to whom? A business does not run on mere fumes of hope, crossing our fingers and praying for the best. A business requires trust, more so when it involves food. To cook and feed others is perhaps the most intimate business of all.

So we start anew today armed solely with this trust -- in ourselves, and in our patrons (has the word ever been more apt?). This photo -- -- is an emblem of that unflinching step forward. I took this photo yesterday, at the end of a long night. The gorgeous, stylish space we created -- disheveled and partly undressed -- as it readies itself to welcome you again. And in that moment, as the nuts and bolts of who we are and what we do lay bared, I felt… hope. For myself, yes. I hope more for our brave team which has brought back this restaurant with sheer grit and ingenuity -- doing, learning and never relenting. Above all, I hope for all of us caught in this sleepless, seemingly neverending night.

That hope, however, is not flimsy, but rests on the sturdy shoulders of the trust we have built with each one of you. Trust that we will put food on the table with utmost care for your safety. Trust that our new (if shortened) menu will delight with its creativity. Trust that you will delight in our food and service, and honour the hard work of our staff in these most difficult of circumstances. And perhaps after many such good meals shared together, we can all enjoy that rarest of pleasures: a good night’s sleep.

This is perhaps the best definition of God that I have come across. It’s so true......Read on.......

*”Did you know that when Einstein attended some conferences in the numerous universities of the USA, the recurring question that the students asked him was:*

*Do you believe in God?*

*And he always answered: I believe in the God of Spinoza.*

*For the ones who haven't read Spinoza, I hope this will give them an idea.*

*Baruch De Spinoza was a Dutch philosopher, of Portuguese Jewish origin, considered one of the great rationalists of his time along with the French philosopher Rene Descartes. Spinoza was born in Amsterdam in the 17th century of a businessman father who was successful but not wealthy.*

*This is the nature of the God of Spinoza:*

*God would have said:*

*"Stop praying and giving yourselves blows on your chests, what I want you to do is to go out into the world to enjoy your life.*
*I want you to enjoy, to sing, to have fun and enjoy everything I've done for you.*
*Stop going to those gloomy, dark and cold temples that you built yourself and that you call my house.*
*My home is in the mountains, in the forests, the rivers, the lakes, the beaches. That's where I live and express all my love for you.*
*Stop blaming me for your miserable life; I never told you that you were a sinner.*

*Stop being so scared. I do not judge you, nor criticize you, nor am I ever angry with you, nothing bothers me, nor do I devise punishment. I am pure love.*

*Stop asking me forgiveness, there's nothing to forgive. If I made you... I filled you with passions, pleasures, feelings, needs, limitations, inconsistencies... of free will, how can I blame you if you do or say something out of that what I put in you? How can I punish you for being as you are, if I'm the one who made you? Do you think I could create a place to burn all my children who misbehave, for the rest of eternity?*
*What kind of God can do that?*
*Forget about any kind of commandments, of any kind of laws; those are wiles to manipulate you, to control you and only to create guilt in you.*
*Respect your peers and don't do to others what you don't want for you. The only thing I ask is that you pay attention in your life, that your alert status is your guide. This life is the only thing there is, here and now and the only thing you need.*

*I have made you absolutely free, there are no prizes or punishments, there are no sins or virtues, no one carries a marker, no one carries a record.*
*You are absolutely free to create in your life a heaven or hell.*

*I couldn't tell you if there's anything after this life, but I can give you a tip. Live as if there wasn't.*
*As if this was your only chance to enjoy, to love, to exist.*

*So, if there is nothing, then you will have enjoyed the opportunity I gave you. And if there is, be sure that I will not ask you if you behaved well or not. I will ask you, Did you like it?... did you have fun ?..What did you enjoy the most? What did you learn?...*

*Stop believing in me; believe is to assume, guess, imagine. I don't want you to believe in me, I want you to feel me when you kiss your beloved, when you play with your little girl, when you love your dog, when you bathe in the sea.*

*Stop praising me. What kind of egotistical God do you think I am?*
*I'm bored of your praise, I'm fed up with thanks . Do you feel grateful? Prove it by taking care of yourself, your health, your relationships, the world around you. Do you feel overwhelmed?... Express your joy! That's the way to praise me.*

*The only thing sure is that you are here, that you are alive, that this world is full of wonders.*

*What do you need more miracles for? Why so many explanations?*

*Don't look for me outside, you won't find me. Find me inside... I'm beating in there for you."*

*Baruch De Spinoza.”*

We have traveled through many lifetimes and lived with many different souls amid family, friends or those who don't really get along with us.

Some may have even tried to harm us emotionally, physically or spiritually.

All said and done, we all are the same and belong to only one group that is 'souls'.

We all have traveled together in different lifetimes and have shared various relationships with each other such as:-

Father-Mother
Husband-Wife
Uncle-Aunt
Brother-Sister
Friends
Neighbours
Servants
Drivers and
even so-called Enemies.

Each person is a 'soul' that tries to help the other move forward spiritually and reduce the Karmic baggage.

Sometimes the soul that loves us the most, might willingly take birth as an enemy or a tormentor in a lifetime, just to help us work out our karma.

Thus, a person, who we think hates us and we in return hate, might be our greatest well-wisher spiritually.

He or she may be responsible for our becoming spiritual or compassionate. That very person who is creating hell in our lives may bring us closer to spirituality. In the present lifetime, he/she may be doing so because that could be the only way to teach us a lesson.

Sometimes, a soul is reborn just to comfort us and be there in times of need.

So, who is our friend and who is our enemy? They all are part of the Soul-Family who wants to help us and want help in return. Sometimes an opportunity comes in the form of a disaster. Sometimes, the only way to grow spiritually and in life is through pain, sorrow and turmoil.

That is when life seems strange.

Hence never form judgments, abuse or hate and never say nasty things about anyone. Who knows we may be harming the Soul who loves us the most spiritually but are not able to recognize it as the soul is wearing a different body in this particular lifetime.

You're so hard on yourself. Take a moment... sit back.
Marvel at your life:

- at the grief that softened you,

- at the heartache that wisened you,

- at the suffering that strengthened you.

Despite everything,
you still grow,
_be proud of this_.

Start a new trend. Stop saying 'Sorry' instead say 'Thanks'. Like in place of 'Sorry I am late' say 'Thank you for waiting for me'. This will shift the way you think of yourself and improve your relationships with others who get to receive your 'gratitude' instead of 'negativity'

"Then suddenly there came a downward look,
As if a sea exploring its own depths.
A living Oneness widened at its core
And joined him to unnumbered multitudes.
A bliss, a Light, a Power, a flame-white Love
Caught all into a sole immense embrace;
Existence found its truth on Oneness' breast
And each became the self and space of all.
The great world-rhythms were heart-beats of one Soul.
To feel was a flame-discovery of God,
All mind was a single harp of many strings,
All life a song of many meeting lives;
For worlds were many, but the Self was one."
