| Only actions that kindle man's divine nature are worthy of the name of action, all the rest are non-actions and a waste of energy. Any line of behaviour that fails to quicken the Divine in man should be eschewed, no matter how enticing it might appear; but any that helps to awaken man's inherent Divinity must be resolutely adopted even though it be seemingly uninviting. Man's calling is to aspire to the realisation of Truth, to tread the excellent path that leads to Immortality. What appears delightful to the senses later develops into a hotbed of poison, generating inner turmoil and disaster, for it belongs to the realm of death. |

This is great... A new minister was walking with an older, more seasoned minister in the garden one day. Feeling a bit insecure about what God had for him to do, he was asking the older preacher for some advice. The older preacher walked up to a rosebush and handed the young preacher a rosebud and told him to open it without tearing off any petals. The young preacher looked in disbelief at the older preacher and was trying to figure out what a rosebud could possibly have to do with his wanting to know the will of God for his life and ministry. But, because of his great respect for the older preacher, he proceeded to try to unfold the rose, while keeping every petal intact. It wasn't long before he realized how impossible this was to do. Noticing the younger preacher's inability to unfold the rosebud without tearing it, the older preacher began to recite the following poem... "It is only a tiny rosebud, A flower of God's design; But, I cannot unfold the petals With these clumsy hands of mine." "The secret of unfolding flowers Is not known to such as I. GOD opens this flower so easily, But, in my hands they die." "If I cannot unfold a rosebud, This flower of God's design, Then, how can I have the wisdom To unfold this life of mine?" "So, I'll trust in God for leading Each moment of my day. I will look to God for guidance In each step along the way." "The path that lies before me, Only my Lord and Savior knows. | Sri Ma’s Special Directives for Spiritual Aspirants _/\_ . In order to advance towards Self-Realisation, it is absolutely necessary for an aspirant to yearn constantly for his sublime goal. He should practice sadhana regularly, whether he feels in a mood for it or not. . To criticize people or to feel hostile towards anyone harms oneself and puts obstacles into one’s path to the Supreme. If someone does something bad, you should feel nothing but affection and benevolence towards him or her. Think, ‘Lord ! This is also one of Thy manifestations.’ The more kindly and friendly you can feel and behave towards everybody, the more will the way to the One – who is goodness itself – open out. . Take care not to be contented at any stage. Some aspirants have visions, others realizations. Or, someone experiences bliss, great happiness and thinks he has himself become God. On the spiritual path, before true Realization supervenes, one may get caught in supernatural powers (vibhutis or siddhis). These constitute obstacles. . The positive proof that the aspirant is centered in God is that he ceases to hate any person or object, and that good qualities such as love, forgiveness, patience, forbearance go on increasing in him. When this change takes place in an aspirant, he will come to see that the One Brahman pervades each and every form, all sects, creeds. An aspirant should not indulge in useless conversation or gossip, but speak only when it is really necessary, which means that he must be a man of few words. . Try and try again to reach the goal you have set before yourself. So long as Realization does not come, you must never relax your efforts. Let this be your firm resolve. In the quest of Self-Knowledge, Love is the crucial factor. Whether it pleases you or not, you will have to make the Eternal your constant companion, just like a remedy that has got to be taken. Without loving God, you will not get anywhere. Remember this all the time. . |
*When she takes her time* to drink a barely warm cup of tea, let her. She's given her time to cook your meal and serve it to you before she sat to drink her tea. *When she takes time* to select a dish from the menu, let her. Every day, for every meal she has prepared she has given her time to think about what to make, how much, and for whom. *When she takes time* to dress up to go out with you, let her. She has given her time to make sure that your ironed clothes are in their place and knows better than you, where your socks are. She has dressed up her child thoughtfully, to look like the most smartly dressed up child around. *When she takes time* to watch TV mindlessly, let her. She is only half concentrating and has a clock ticking in her head. As soon as it's nearing dinner time, you'll see her disappear to get things ready. *When she takes time* to serve you breakfast, let her. She has kept aside the burnt toast for herself and is taking the time to serve her family the nicest ones she could manage. *When she takes time* after her tea to just sit by the window and stare into nothingness, let her. It's her life, she's given you countless hours of her life.. Let her take a few minutes for herself. _She's rushing through her life, giving chunks of her time whenever needed, wherever needed._ _Don't rush her more than she rushes herself._ _Don't push her harder than she pushes herself._ *Tribute to all Women.*😇 |
| Spell the word *'COW'* in 13 letters..... was asked in a competitive exam. So called *'intellectuals'* went mad analysing it. Even highly reputed Professors were stumped thinking what could be the answer. Many lecturers debated that the question itself was wrong, maybe there was a printing mistake, etc. *'Toppers'* were confused. *'Average'* student's minds went blank, and they cursed the question setters. *'Below-Average'* students felt sad, unable to solve it. But a *'Back Bencher'* throughtout school was happy he knew the answer. He wrote coolly, *"SEE O DOUBLE YOU"* Moral : *Do not underestimate back benchers🤪. Many times, they develop out of box thinking even while not topping.🤩* |
