Very good analogy.

Confusing at first. However very introspective.

I find myself remembering my journey from village to village many years ago, as well as each of my daughters journeys to their perspective new villages now. While at times they have chosen to return to my village for brief periods, from their caves, they have finally found their own villages. This makes me proud and I can visit their villages if I behave.

I enjoyed your piece and where it eventually took me.

A very enjoyable read! You had me smiling and even laughing throughout the entire experience. When you really think about it, you are so right. Many of us are even known to repeat the process over and over again. Most often without even figuring out what the unknown factor is.

After doing it myself three times, I can only guess that they somehow hypnotized me each time. I can honestly say I have complained more than once about not getting an instruction booklet with them. Especially since they've grown up and complained about something I've done wrong in raising them.

I now have the pleasure of watching them making the same purchases, raising them by the seat of their pants, repeating some of the same mistakes. But I sure do love my 9 grandkids.

I'd like to know if you decided to get one and how it's worked out for you. I'm sure that would make for more enjoyable reading, as I believe from your sense of humor in this piece that you'd have a lot more to say.

Keep on writing! Again very enjoyable!
