A great read you really do have a way with words. Is this natural or learned, as you seem to be able to tap into child speak. A major feather in your cap I say.

Clever use of the insect, need to keep an eye on bugs as they have a tendancy to take over the place. Still without them then what we find to stamp on, the odd cow or pig perhaps. But at my age I might have a problem getting my leg up high enough.

I agree with the analisis but don't to many tags tend to be somewhat distracting. I don't doubt the validity of the claim, but don't words have to breath occasionally. If I'm making sense, but then I do have a penchant for rambling.

Great read and imaginative piece of fiction, I hope. The sound of silence will begger us all our lives, so it pays to listen once in a while to what we really need to hear. The sound of a child in pain is something that should never be heard.
For some reason there were a couple of typos in number ten, and non in the rest?
'Top of the chess?' I'd move 'and' from tearing and place it before tossing. And instead of in the gas, perhaps 'From the gas in the burst pipe.' But these are mearly cosmetic glitches and don't distract from the story.

I rate as I see.
Very good in out line and content. Rather a lot of short sehtances that I thought could have been reduced into singular longer ones, but hey a bit picky. There were a few typos: Cornelia world let him compete(would)
Feet he couldn't meet(feat) He come up behind her(came)
He was lein between clenched teeth(lying)repeated this a couple of times.
But all in all a good read I wait forward to your conclusion, please let me know when that is as I forget things?

There's so much Free stuff on this site my head spins, and I don't know where to go next. It will take me years to acomplish what it was that I set out to do. But because of this site, and all the willing hands available to me, this should lesson my load somewhat.
I have learned so much in the short time that I have been here, and for an old guy that's almost 65 starting something new could have been a nightmare. You have my blessing and long may you reign.

My grandparents on my fathers side died when I was 15. My mothers parents and of course my grandparents died when I was overseas. I never went to any of their funerals, or for that matter my parents who also died when I was overseas.
I felt it enormously, but not as much I think as my sons, who never got to see or meet their grandparents.
Earning a living is a fine thing, but time for family should always come first, you think.
