Review of The Old Woman

Odd, and scary I wonder what haunts the mother, child and grandmother. No excuse or answer, I wonder if maybe it is simply a traumatic event that has hurt them or if the old woman is real. It is always, in a story like this, that the innocent ones are never believed and in the end hurt the most, your story was imaginative and wonderfully written, like something out of a ghost story book. Great job, and as always write on!

Chilling, but beautifully written, I loved every word of your poem, though dark it was exciting and dramatic and I've just mentally logged it in as one of my top five favorites. You did a wonderful job, and i marvel at your abilities. I hope to read more from you soon, as this poem has definitely put a new spin on my opinion of poetry. Magnificent job! And as always Write on!

I have yet to read any other chapters of your novel, but let me just say that this is one of the best stories I have read so far. Greatly told and written every word flowed easily with the next, almost as if i had checked it out from the library. I love your title, and the way you begun your story, characters like Lord Blackstone are easy to hate, you did a great job creating him through the thoughts and actions of others. I already hate him. Wonderful read, and as always Write on!

Wow, what a breathtaking description. This is definitely something I would love to read, so deep and gripping, I haven't read any of the story and already I am hooked into the plot. Sure its a summary or as you called it a prologue but it takes quite a bit of skill to write a teaser so well that you can't wait to read the story..Great job! and as always write on!

I laughed and i cried, this story reminds me so much of myself it isn't funny. My mother used to tell me when i was a teenager that i couldn't date until i could keep a white shirt clean for an entire day, because everything i touched just seemed to spill...You write wonderfully, and I loved your story, and the way you drew me in from the very first line, this has been dubbed one of my top 5 favorites. Write on!

A great tale of a classic cliche'. Your a great story teller, and at one point I could almost fell Damien's anger, I myself wanted to hit that girl lol. i couldn't believe that Mathew had chosen her I was shocked, and seriously mad, but of course i knew the whole story lol. It sucks that they weren't able to remain friends, but after Fiona's lies, i couldn't see them ever being what they used to be, and Damien the innocent by stander lost the most. Great Story-

This is a very sweet poem, that says so much in so little words. Your words gave me easy visualization of an elderly grandmother singing to her grandchild, and I have to admit that I loved it, and wish that i knew that song to sing to my own child, as it sounds very loving. You did a wonderful job expressing your feelinds, keep writing.

Usually I don’t get into poetry, but that was beautiful, I loved that you didn’t make it rhyme to much, yet enough that it had a rhythm, I loved your subject and the way your portrayed the love through death, This is definitely one of my favorite poems, Thanks for a GREAT read-

I enjoyed your story very much. It was very enlightening as well as entertaining, and it was definitely an easy read. I made me a little sad to think of everything the toy maker had squandered away, yet at the same time, there is a lesson to learn, and he definitely paid attention. It fit very well that he was after watches, and the story was about time, a tying of loose ends so to speak. This is a great story, even for children as maybe a bed time story, I wonder if someone will think to compile this story with he one by eye star, about the Tree in The Lake. Thansk for an interesting read.

Review of The Ellylion

Very well written. I like how you seem to be telling a story, yet at the same time drawing the reader in as if they are part of it. I easily imagine the sort of surroundings you are trying to convey, and it is a great idea, whether you created it your self, or shaped it from a myth. Either way I loved the idea, loved your telling of it, and specifically I loved the tree. How incredible that tree must be :)

Definitely scary, I’ll give you that. I’ve never read a “dialogue” so maybe I’m not the best person for this, but I’ve got to say I quite enjoyed it. I liked the way your character described themselves without taking it out of the conversation, a little at a time so as not to overwhelm the reader with to many details. The stuttering of the kid gives the story a sort of innocence that leads you to believe the other character isn’t quite so scary after all, then bam! It hits you, and the ending does give you the chills a little bit. Well done.-Thanks for the great read.

You have a way with words that make it very easy to image what you are saying. The way you describe things, makes them seem like you are staring into a painting. It was very easy to put myself in the time and place of your characters, and enjoyed the “feel” of mystery, and deception. Personally I am not one for the government settings, but you made it easy for me to understand what was going on, and its important to be able to pull in readers easily. All in all I’d say you are a gifted writer. As I said before, this usually isn’t my type of read, but I’m glad I did, because it proved to be very interesting, if not enlightening. You characters have a gutless quality that make you feel invincible, even as they die. The story line is very well thought out, very well put together, and easily followed. Combined with your characters, and the setting, the plot is extremely alluring. I especially like the ending, as I was beginning to think that Grady was heartless, and someone has to have a heart I would hope, even a hardened one. The fact that he loves his wife, yet is willing to do whatever it takes, makes him an unlikable character, yet out of them all, ironically he is the most likable. If Fatima had to die, then I’m glad it was painless as she did not deserve the torture planned for her, and though I wish the children did not have to die, it is good that they also were not tortured. Your characters Grady and Traci seem made for each other, yet I’m sensing a betrayal, and I’m not sure if its just me or the way I’m reading it. Maybe I’m wrong and just letting my imagination run wild. Thanks for the great read.
