Cute story. It had a nice family feel. It was something I normally would have read on my own, but stuck with it. It obviously had enough of my attention to finish. Some of the sentences seem a little lengthy in the first paragraph though. Maybe break them up a little, would be all I would suggest. Very nice story.

Love the context, a generational battle over a name! I believe you should have a comma "@ the end of argumentive rope" But, great job!
