Fate is a very contoversial matter. As we do not get the desired results in spite of best efforts, it is belived that luck or fate plays its part. However, there is no such thing as fate. Our activities and determination plays major role. However, everthing does not depend on individual actions. We act jointly with others. Our success depends not only on our individual action but also on support and cooperation of our colleagues, friends, family and others with whom we interact. Most of what we do is team work. So ecven if an individual gives good performance, other team members may damage his results. Another example. A student works very hard to get first position.
