This was a great piece, a good short for Halloween. The character and dialogue runs smoothed, keeps you engaged from start to finish. I knew it had to be a prank by his friend, but at the same time I was thinking, what of his crazy friend plans to frame him for something. Lol. The end result was perfect, though I had wished for a darker turn of events, but that's just me. Regardless you did a great job.
This work really stood out. It's a monologue mixed with poetry. I like how the person in this is trying to deny they need someone to define them, yet they're crazy in love with this person they can't stop thinking about. We all can relate to this or even know someone like this in our daily lives.
Great job and keep at it. You wield your words like a weapon and that is beautiful.
This was some amazing hard hitting poetry. Describing the Perfect toxic relationship people seem to be enamored and obsessed with, even though the world tells them to leave, they go back for more. Knowing how damaging it can be to their soul and psyche.
It's a great monologue, poetic at the same time. The thing that made it hard to follow at times was that all the paragraphs were all bunched together, which tends to make it hard for some readers to follow.
You do have a good monologue that questions life and questions his own existence.
