This Childrens' story, "If wishes were fisherd, Robby was down by Potocopaug fishing with his father. I wonder if Robbie's fishing trips were no few and hard between. When Robbie met the stange old man, I knew somthing majical or tragedty would follow.

The majic led Robbie, in his sleep, down by the river. This time the old man fightened him, saying,, " You gotta be careful what you want for when you wish." That touches me, personally, I ran a horse and mule farm and kept milk goats and ate rabbit. I alway would tell people, "Don't say, 'if wishes were horses,' it may come true."

Review of The Dream

This story, "The Dream," is an excellent story. The characters were real, as was the dialoge. I sometimes do wonder if we can dream about something that comes true? I haven't had a good dream in most of my adult life. I call them "Dilema Dreams," because I'm always trying to fix a problem. I liked Carrie's dream so much better. This is a great story!

I have never been involved with this type of auction. We always drove our trucks to Walterboro for the Horse Auction. That was our way of having fun on a saturday night. We even witnessed a shooting! I miss the old days, but I'm a city girl now and I have been so tickled to be part of this Pampering with Power Auction. It is one of the best activities I've been involved with that I can recall.

I can't wait to see what is in store for me! Maybe one day I'll be the one who does the pampering!
Love,
Lesley

I was amazed with the membership following you have on your site. I didn't read it all because I have my chores waiting. I honestly think "Non-Humans" is a wonderful concept. You sure do have a lot of friends and members who are into fantasy and horror, if I may guess. I spent up most of my points on some auctions and raffles. I hope I win!
You are doing a great job. Keep up the good work. I may be able to put together my own Non-Human. I'm good with reptiles!

Your story seemed so real to me. Did it happen sometime? Who wrote it, Or did you sit down and write? The first part was really creepy, yet the end was even more creepy. Some folks have a short fuse about certain things.
At least now you can do some really creepy haunting!

Y'all certainly have plenty of sponsors. I don't want to look cheap. How do I send you my points? I've been saving them up and some silly idea of using the points I have gathered to pay my tuition in June. But, for some reason (they never gave me a specific reason) I've been busted back from Preferred Author to Upgraded. I don't know what I can do. I keep getting blocked from certain people and certain links. I hope we won't have any trouble here. I promise to try not to piss anyone off.

Review of What a Nightmare!

This item about nightmares helped me figure out why I have always had them. I haven't had a pleasant dream in quite a number of years. I stay stressed out, whatching crime dramas and reading books about true crime. I just wish, for once, I would have a good dream. I'm sick of the nightmares

This poem, written in a mythologial format is such a good fanticy. "Chaos must be hunted --- To stay by her side. The human race be saves." is one of my favorite quotes and you have so many! That they would become murderers of each other is a good name for the last paragraph.
Keep on Writing!

Hi there.
I think a raffle is a great idea for us to have. I can't afford to give as much as I would like to, but I will be giving more as time goes by and we have more raffles. Since I belong to Power Reviers, do I give y'all the credit? I have a raid starting tomorrow. I don't want to miss that. They are counting on me. I do a lot of reviews whenever I can.

I am looking forward to being part of your group. It's about time!

Your poem, "Daily Exstence" can apply to all of us. We all go through the same motions when we first awaken. "That out childhood imagination manage to keep; lingering inside our skull-like form Are just caracature of the figments that our childhood manage to keep." That is so true of us all!

Your article about Happiness really touched me in a certain way. It is so true and people are growing up to be more depressed than thay were when we had litte food and I pods. The children today still grow depressed. Look at the suicide rate of school children over the past year for example. We sure didn't even think about harming ourselves when we were growing up.
Keep on Writing, this is a good piece of work.

Your poem, "So Will He Keep Me," is very moving and gives me so many visual and mental sights. I wish I could feel, "The cool rain refreshes me and cleanes my mind of all worries, releasing me from the trials that bind me to this earth, and reminding me to become one with God's creation." I think we all need a walk through the pristine woodlands to feel like we are part of this blessed world.

Your piece, "Stairs of Success" was interesting. You said it is from your own experience. Did you practice the three steps and land the job? I agree with the application of your three steps, but wish you had written more so we could understand, like an example. Overall, I liked your item.

Review of Manic Episode II

"Manic II" is another of your most interesting poems. This one, also, strikes me as being schizophrenic in nature. I'm sure you aren't schizo, but how do you come up with this poetry? Do you read a lot, or is it something from movies? I do find both poems intriguing.

Review of Manic Episode

"Manic" is an appropriate name for your interesting poem. I can't write poetry, but love to read what poets do with their time. Does it take a long time, or does it pop out? This poem, while certainly manic, leans more towards schizophrenia. I am Bipolar, or Manic/Depressive and my manic phases are full of the highs of my mind and what I can accomplish. Or sometimes, I simply move, do, and talk fast and happily.
This is a cool poem. I can only speculate how it started.

Your article, , about writing reviews helped me out a lot. I discovered that some of my reviews were pretty good. I still have a hard time finding advice for a writer. I don't seem to pick up many errors or stories I don't like. I find the reviews for my writing are valluable tools if I do recieve advice and errors noticed. I feel like your artilce was written for me.

Your story about sharing customs, such as an American Birthday Party is a good story. I love the way you said you finally carried your cake for Mama. "Yet again, I saw how different life here could be," summed it all up. I recommend this story for everyone. I will read it to my husband, too.
Keep on Writing!

I don't play poker well but I need a King, too. We all do, I think. With Easter creeping up on us, I think knowing the King is the best hand of everyone's life. I don't know if your story was literal or not, but I see everything as meaning something.

Review of Haunted

Yes you do sound depressed. Is it only when you wrote your poem or are you upbeat every now and then. I ask because I am Bipolar and I have depressive episodes that last a couple of days, from day to day, it's up and down (rapid cycling) and every couple of months I'll be so manic, I won't sleep for a few days, get a lot done, and feel fine until the depression returns. Are you like that? I do like you poem. I'll put this in our Reviews File.

Review of Mom's Poem
Review by Lesley Scott

I love that poem. I'll bet you had a wonderful child hood with a caring mother. My childhood was good, but my folks didn't like me to write. I would stuff a towel under my door so my folks couldn't see my light was on. I have ADHD and Bipolar Disorder, so I still stay up for a couple of days and feel fine.
I will read more of you poems. Oh, I know this is a lot to ask, but can I write a copy of your poem for my mother's 80th birthday? I will give you all the credit, of course. Just think about it.
Later,
L.

Review of My African Gray
Review by Lesley Scott
Rated: E | (4.5)
I loved your poem about Katie. My African Grey, Timmy, likes to call himself "Mister Timbo." He does all of the nice things like Katie. But he is a liar and very craftly. He loves my husband, never bit him once. I can't count the times he sweetly asked me to take him out. When I put my hand in the cage, he savages me! Yesterday, I was cleaning his cage and keeping an eye on him, just one second, I let my guard down and he bit the side of my face. Blood dripped on the floor and my clothes.
I am going to spend more time with Timbo, just talking. He likes that. But I will never trust him not to bite me. Do you have any advice? Timbo is three years old.
Your Katie sounds like a treasure! I wish I could have such a relationship and special friend.
Please keep on writing and I will keep on reading!

Hi,l That was a super good story you wrote, Lornda. The song was very touching and gave me tears. It must have been difficult for you to write such a story. Did it really happen? It is one of the best I've read. You really do derserve first place. I agree whole heartedly with the judges!

Review of But Mommy!
Review by Lesley Scott

This was a most unusual and yet a realistic story. Small children sometimes become so involved with their toys it feels like it is time for her to know that nothing lasts forever. However, I sleep with stuffed animals and my favorite, Snoopy, is cradled in my arms. Dr. Oz adviced that we should sleep on our right side and cuddle a pillow or stuffed animals. That is where I got the idea. I sleep better and have better dreams.

Review of Making Friends
Review by Lesley Scott
Rated: E | (4.5)
Maybe Mike is a pick up artice but he does sound real. I also trust Raches' way of handling the situation. I am not sure to believe him or not. He just may be a nice guy. Again, Rache must trust her instincs. Once I let a homless man sleep on my couch. I told him my boy friend was on his way home, just to be sure. He turned out to be a very decent and hard working man and Cliff let him stay with us until he got on his feet. He was also good with livestock.. All three of us became good friends.
So do what your heart tells you to do. I have met guys who didn't have good intentions. But, again, he may end up being a good friend. Be sure and tell him you have a jealous boyfriend.

This is a lot of fun. Lucky for me, I've kept parrots and I am somewhat farmiliar with their behaviours and keep an eye on them, making sure the parrot would be in a good mood. I've read about "Alex," and that he was considered as intelligent as a toddler. So I treat parrots as if they are little chilldren with feathers that can hurt me badly when the bird is angry. I'm still working with Timmy, but after four years, he still bites me hard and adores my husband.
