if i was to describe a poem to someone, this is one i would use as a template. you lay out the scene with a witty and tender expression, and then, you allow the reader (giving them credit) to figure out the history and future of it themselves. you also use such excellent free form. well done.
HA!!! loved, loved, loved it! you captured math in class PERFECT. seriously, every line just makes me grin wider and wider. (honestly, it reminds me when i was so frustrated in science, i filled in all the answers with stuff like that, like "oyster lottery equivalent monkeyed by 12" and junk)but hey, if math does to to ya, you should take more of it. it makes you write great stuff.
