Dear Rebecca,
I really appreciated this piece, it captures the dreamy anticipation and ideals that initial feeling of love carries. Your frequent and vivid use of simile works well, ie. "like weary turtle doves".

The title is lovely too, as you are an artist sketching with words. To me this piece would make a beautiful song, the words are intriguing and soft, like lyrics.

It touched me on an emotional level because I can relate to the intuition the writer has, who just "knows" the other person feels the same, like a sweet secret.
