Ha Ha! I remember the stupid ideas I had being a kid. Of course its quite a different age perspective, but all the same. I remember when I was three, I was always running around to other people's houses that had their kids playing, jumping over fences to play too. Three years old!!!! I could have gotten killed. As soon as my mom would look the other way I was gone, though it was never too far. All the kids on the street hung out together. And even though I grew up in the woods most my life, this had been when we lived in a not so safe city area. Of course tht doesn't really mean much.
I could easily have gotten killed in the woods as well. I spent my whole life in them by myself, until I had my dog Sabby(Then she accompanied). I loved the woods. I've climbed huge trees and fell, walked across frozen lakes, still went out in hunting seasons, picked all the mushrooms I could find (poisinous or not), stepped on yellow jacket ground nests, and have definately been in areas where bear could easily lurk. But I will never trade those days for anything. Liked the topic! Keep writing!

Very beautiful! I love poems that are cryptic. Its almost like a riddle but you already know the answer. =] So many people are on a search for their "Self". Me being one of them. In the process I have got back into writing, my passion, and came across this site. Good thing I was on that search for my "Self", or else I might have never found the greatest site in the world! lol. Keep writing!

I never got the impression while reading that you were trying to convince anyone to be more enviromentally aware, though I think people should be, heh. I think it was very nicely written and your point was portrayed well. For people to just stick their head out of their fashioned world and look at the bigger picture. Like you said, "Watching dark turn into light, looking at the stars, daydreaming into the heavens." "Taking in God's Masterpiece." "Feeling part of something bigger." I wish more people would take the time to do these things. =[ Feel the strength of the river, walk through the biggest forest, stand by the ocean, dance in a thunderstorm. =] Those are some of my fav's. Man, I think I feel a writing coming on.
Unfortunately, I think I am a little bit of a tree-hugging hippy, lol. But without trees, there wouldn't be much beauty to enjoy.
Keep up the good writing! Love your use of words.

Review of No Card For This
Rated: E | (4.0)
You used a good theme for describing falling out of love. Looking at the romantic cards, putting one after the other back on the shelf, hoping that the next one you pick up will have less feeling in its words then the last. "There are no cards describing how you have fallen out of love. Maybe I should write them." Maybe you should. =]

Review of ART
Rated: E | (4.0)
Very open verse, written almost as a column but with a beautiful play of words. This poem, in my opinion, is very deep. It expresses how emotion is the drive behind alot of different art, which I find to be very true. Music and poetry are prime examples of this, along with the flow of colors and shapes upon canvas devulging words one can not speak or face up front. One particular line that stood out and impressed me was "One picture--2 get a hundred minds thinking in a thousand different ways." I absolutely love that! =]
