That would really be something to have one of those notes, now wouldn't it! How interesting to write by only Candles and fire as it was for light!
I think Jane and I have something in common I like writing my books in Pen on paper but yet I also love to use my laptop to do the same which she did not have that option. Still sometimes the pad and pen can come in very handy while I am writing!
I would love to see the quilt that Jane's Mother made, I bet it is gorgeous!

I know, right... Where does the time go? I had thought that Jane brought it before Charles and you are right we can read between them lines! What a good and well-informed newsletter. Love the pics too... Wish I could get her to make me some but I know she does not feel like all that and is busy... I would have never guessed that Halloween is a Christain holiday as I was raised as such and they taught that Halloween was the devil's night! I still got to go trick or treating as a kid but when I had kids I let them go a few times as I preferred to make them goodies and us have our own safe Halloween. Every year ya hear on the news of someone putting something in something that is passed out to our children. I don't know why anyone would really want to hurt an innocent child! I love Halloween I think that there is more fun than bad and I love all of my Halloween images as well.
