I love the word choice and emotion. Skin, hazel, iris, vacuous, adjust, hallucinogen, laced, craving, inhale, ingest, reality, tingle, exuberate/exuberance, goose bumps, shivers, pleasure, frustration, honesty. Just about every other word hits hard and sinks in. The emotion is obviously strong and I really love this piece. Wonderful work!

I totally know what you're going through! When I was cheated on all I could see was my (ex) boyfriend and the other girl all over each other every time I closed my eyes. It hurts to know that you can't hate them because you love them. And you feel violent and angry and yet you still kind of want them to be happy in the end. The passion and anger fuse and bubble but they die out so quickly you know you'll regret any rash action. It's really wonderful writing, I can feel every line.

I love this poem, especially the end! I could relate to a lot of it with my best friend (yes, he is my boyfriend) but the fact that you're best friend is beer and that you decided to hit that in at the end made a really good impact and added a lighter mood to a happy but serious subject.
