A poem that shows how things can never live alone.
In the Land that Disappeared
Time runs wild and Space is endless
Scars litter whats left
Of the life that used to be
Everything is dead
Only dreams and ghosts remain
Sorrow thrives and Anger rules
Happiness hides and Peace is dead
In the Land that Disappeared
Just a vast and empty place
That is nothing but used up trash
That was poisened by the life
Too much was required
It couldn't fill the demand
All was sucked out leaving just a shell
Even though it sceamed out in protest and tried to stop the life that lived there
In the Land That Disappeared
Panic rippled on the surface
The life tried to find another way
Slowly, slowly, they realized
That they had murdered
They had sinned
They had done what couldn't be done
Franticly they fled never to return again
Leaving behind the disaster and wreck that they created to heal itself alone
In the Land that Disappeared
Now it waits and waits and waits
Crying out into nothing
Hoping that life will hear
And take pity
To return and heal the wounds
For the land knows the truth
That they cannot live apart
It needs life and life needs land
In the Land that Disappeared
But the crying is usless
And the screaming is pointless
And when you become hoarse there is nothing left to do
So now the land waits and waits
Floating, floating leaving havic where it walks
Waiting for lofe to come back
In the Land that Disappeared
