reflections........
Yesterday
the door finally
blew off the old house
altogether
it's ceaseless banging
a reminder no more
that it once
held a promise
for someone
whose chances
time has passed
leaving us to reflect
on it's now
quiet emptiness
and sounds
of our own clocks
ticking
our own ceaseless banging
into tomorrow
