Can you miss what you never had?
MISSING YOU

I miss you in the morning when I wake alone in bed.
You are not there to hold me but your words are in my head.
I miss you as I go about my lonely day's routine.
I imagine you are here with me and think what might have been.

I miss you when I'm strolling through the woods and by the streams.
To hold your hand and walk with you would satisfy my dreams.
I miss you every season in the sunshine and the rain.
I miss not being by your side to share our love, our joy, our pain.

I miss the smile I long to see, the hands I'll never touch.
The kisses sweet I'll never taste, I miss so very much.
I miss the laugh I'd love to hear, the jokes I know we'd share.
I miss not being with you, to show how much I care.

I miss you each and every day although we've never met.
For the love we have came to us through the world wide internet.
Six thousand miles between us, we'll never meet I guess.
But that doesn't stop me loving you or make me miss you less.
