This is for my family who will uderstand
Everyday I look into your eyes.
Those eyes that look upon me so fondly.
And I see the pain and hurt inside you.
I see your pupils constrict,
As your life is plunged further into darkness.

I can feel the poisoned blood in your veins.
That same blood runs through my own body.
I am bound inextricably to you.
I feel your anguish, I live your fear.

I watch the dark clouds settles over your soul.
I see it as it engulfs your very being.
Soon you will be yourself no longer.

Let me gaze once more into those eyes
The ones filled with laughter and happiness.

Come back to me, please.
