A poem about a "forbidden" love.
My whole life is devoted,
To your command,
In hopes that one day,
We’ll be hand in hand.

Thoughts of you,
Carry me on.
In your game of chess,
I’m but a pawn.

I need you,
As you need me,
Though you say,
That it can never be.

It can work,
We just need love,
A pawn and a queen,
You say that’s unheard of.

Six Spaces,
That’s all I need,
To change myself,
So our love will be freed.

Through trouble and danger,
Will I go,
To make your love for me,
Ever grow.

Success or Failure,
My fate is drawn,
Everlasting love,
Or a forgotten pawn.

White Queen,
I love you,
Always I’ll Remain,
Faithfully true.
