This short poem is about our inner demons of procrastination and hate.
Life is short and riches rare,
And though he can not repair,
The hole that taunts,
Because of what he wants,
He is the little shadow man,

Poor, dirty and full of hate,
He doesn't think his life is great,
But on his boat back and forth he sways,
Just to pass the time away,

When his opportunity comes,
The demon will crawl out of the slums,
He can be helpful but a bit misleading,
His answeres seem good but are deceiving,

Shadow Man sulks all day in the black,
If you have no control he will attack,
He tells you who to hate when and where,
I forces you to curse and swear,

The Shadow Man is a demon within us all,
He will take the credit but not the fall,
Escape his wrath, break free!
So that the shadow man will not be.
