Just a personal piece about lies
Oh, the lies
Do they get hung up?
With the yellow raincoat
Do they migrate?
Drown, swim, or just float
Oh, the lies
How they tell them
Do they just get hung up?
Or is that just you?
In the loft
There must be a collection
Of rain clouds
Which you save for a sunny day
The bird of hope
Long since flown away
Oh, the lies
Polish them on a Sunday
Walk through showers
The excuses
Oh, they go on for hours
