A truth poem about men
They pull you in, then push you away.
They only say what they have to say.
They're not lying, only omitting.
When the truth comes out, they're simply forgetting.
They tell you that and tell you this.
They even seal it with a kiss.
They will promise you their very heart,
Only to tear yours apart.
They build you up then pull you down.
In the end they're not around.
They wipe your tears to cause more.
They say it's you they adore.
They beg you to stay and then they leave.
The stupid dreams they make you believe.
They say they're faithfull when they're not.
They say it's you when they're caught.
They say women are all the same.
Well, maybe, the men are to blame.
