A poem depicting a tortured soul at war. Hope you enjoy it please please rate it thanks.
I don't feel like I should be here
Because all that's left is pain and fear
Why won't you see me anyway?
Do all my tears make you afraid?

They make us fight our sanity
With no care for our family
They would rather see us dead and gone
Than take care of what little we own

They save themselves to fill their homes
Laid on a mountain of scarred bones
On the money pile we are thrown
They let you know you're on your own

Do you know if it's all too late?
Has the love all turned to hate?
Can we be saved from this hellish fate?
Or are we stood staring at heavens gate?
