A poem about a haggard soul.
If i was picked up and swallowd hole,
Taken away from the things that I know,
Deep in the belly of a greater pain,
I wonder if the things that I dream are insane,
Ponder a life with a thing called control,
Drifting away from the things that I hold,
Forever indentured to the heartache I feel,
Numb from the fact that anything's real,
I feel the sadness underneath my eyes,
The age in your face very rarely lies,
When has my soul ever done any good,
Not that I ever thought that it would.
