I look out my window and know this night was meant to be my last
One Night

I look out my window my reflection haunting me
The lightning flashes through the sky and I fall onto my knees

The glass drops from my hand shattering upon the floor
And I sit there wondering when life became a chore

I look at my hand and see a piece of glass
I look out my window and know this night was meant to be my last

Tears silently fall as I slowly pull the glass across my wrist
I let the shadow of my mind control me as I fall into the mist

I shiver as I remember my past only wanting to forget
I remember every time you made a new threat

I look down and feel as if I am in a mystical world
I see my own ruby red blood coating the wall

I succumb to the darkness of death
As I let go of my one last breath
