The end of another chapter. (written for my baby girl)
time is stealing you
away my sweet
your delicate features
precious nose
rosy cheeks
and their matching lips

this moment is all I have
even now you are leaving
growing towards a future
I can not be a part of

I cherish you
your strength and beauty
so much ahead of you
I don’t want to keep you here
so I can’t help but cherish this moment

because it will never come again
time is stealing
you
away
