A portrayal of life's cold pain, loneliness, and ultimate fall into night.
The bitter wind calls, as sharp as a knife,
Spreading the dust of snowy diamond -
The cold of winter will never end,
And forlorn tears freeze the blood of life.

I am but a desolate dancer,
Stepping to the sound of the ticking clocks,
As the winter wind blows across the rocks
To deliver cold life's only answer.

My misery bleeds in the sunless dark,
And alone I face this endless torment -
These eternal wounds fester and ferment
In the shadowed realm of my heart.

As strong as I am, and as hard as I fight,
Even I shall fall in the darkness of Night.
