That feeling of going back when maybe you shouldn't have.
You called
I came
Though neither of us should have crossed that line

We’ve been here before
What made us think it would end differently this time
Instead we got the desired results
Which complicated us more

I’ve come to depend on you
I call for you
But the echo is hollow

You are not there in the darkness
That you once could make light
I am here again

On my own
Bittersweet memories
Wondering if I’m better off

All I feel is empty
Alone
Undeserving

So much left to tell you
And lots you never heard
Maybe this should be the lesson learned
