Hoping to find riches at the end of a rainbow
Looking for lucky leprechauns in the colored mist.
Beneath emerald rainbows, my face now being kissed.

Science and nature splice; formed in this peculiar way.
Though without the other, we shan't survive one more day.

Sunlight and water vapors create this sky sideshow.
Where I'm standing wishing beneath emerald rainbows.

But rainbows never seem to have that large pot of gold.
To Hades for my soul finding only lumps of coal.

Still looking to the heavens, a glimpse to be proposed.
Colors outlined mingle beneath emerald rainbows.

Without having to work for, but wanting all those riches.
The possessions we'd all like, our deeds turn to glitches.

Fading from summers' sky now, my thoughts become bulldozed.
Wishing once again I'm beneath emerald rainbows.

Solemn now I try to reason, why I cannot find,
How can I fill with bounty, my pockets filled with pine?
