A poem that honors one of my fav books, Siddartha...
Siddartha Reborn

She stood with the Source of the seventh paradise.
Looking down on the clouded sapphire of Earth.
The Source remained silent cloaking his doubts in the new sunrise.
She had already chosen the gender of this birth.
The harder path lay ahead and she could not see its hidden curse.

Choosing the feminine changed the path.
Below her lay beginnings shrouded in wrath.
Below her a life of confusion and stumbling.
Heaven tired of her musing commenced with its base note rumbling.

She staggered on the sudden lip.
Paradise had become a rocky cliff.
She turned around to change her mind.
Finding the Source had long left her behind.

Indecision cemented this life.
While falling she thought of being a wife.
When I was Siddartha, I was my own.
Now as female I have need of a home.

She wailed against the violent entrance.
The light here was devoid of the sensitive
The tear stained face must be her Mother.
Yet a stranger’s arms stole her away to slumber.

So Siddartha gave himself to ash.
Reborn to overcome feminine temptations; manipulation.
Arts easily woven by one fluttered lash.
