A bit of a melancholy piece about the few great loves in my life that were not returned.
In life I have lusted for millions of ladies,
Only few stand above the rest,
Women for whom I'd gladly travel to Hades,
Love me back, my only request.

My first, met in childhood, I'll call her Miss "A",
That first kiss, the sweet taste of lips,
Though both nine, quite often, I found I would say,
Every inch of me's yours, toes to tips.

The next at thirteen, we'll name her M'am "E",
She was perfect, I swear it my friend,
Sadly for me, 'twas not meant to be,
Ten years later, my heart's still on the mend.

Dame "J"'s the next lady of whom I speak,
Long blonde hair, green eyes I fell hard,
She moved me quite deeply though connection was weak,
But left me bitter, a melancholy bard.

The last love for me, named Dear Lady "C",
My knees buckle though my chances are bleak,
At first sight I knew she was a gal to marry,
To love every day, each minute, all week.

I've done well with the ladies, I've never gone wanting,
My appetite is quite insatiably horned,
But the few that I've loved, for years have been haunting,
Perhaps the gods hate me, I'm most certainly scorned.
