99 Words Contest Entry - my first attempt.
I don't understand. All I want is to relax in the warm sun. I don't bother anyone, or interfere with their pleasure. Why do they have to hound me? I gave them fair warning to leave me alone, but no...they just won't take the hint. Maybe I should be more forceful. I know! I will make an example of one, the one with the big stick. As I approach, my warning echoes in the rocks. The one with the stick keeps trying to hit me. I strike back, in my own defense.

Newsflash: Rattlesnake hunt ends with one fatality.
