A poem about my running sneakers.
Ode to my Sneakers

Appear as just two pieces of rubber
embedded with grass and dirt.

Within them is the passion
for one rewarding sport.

Putting them upon my feet
knowing what lies ahead.

A run like a race for life
with wind blowing by.

My feet touch the ground
sometimes hard, sometimes light.

I always know my sneakers will guide me
Running with all my might.
