Dr. Smith witnessed a terrible automobile crash. Grabbing his medical bag, he dashed to the closest victim.

He felt a slight, irregular pulse and brushed her golden brown hair from the bloody face. Doc hoarsely

whispered, "I'm here. I'll help you."

But it was a lie. He wasn't able to help. The collie died anyway.
