Lessons learned.
Of life, I've learned these lessons untold
Not taught, but passed on by each new and old
Of worlds, divine, and some utterly cruel
Of words, not violence, to be used as your tool

Of Fate, I've learned, to my dismay
She sends her regards but is useless each day
She provides nothing but lackluster crave
Her words are of daggers, she is naught but a knave

Of Love, I have learned, to be patient and kind
Though Fate may interrupt, Love remains blind
Still able to see, but ignoring every pain
Love is most treasured with whom you have lain

And last, but not least, of evil utter Hate
Perhaps most powerful, lustfully watching Fate
To cause all harm to those in Love is Hate's dream
Jealously, wishing for Love's death is his scheme

Of these praised lessons, I've never been told
Taught through experiences, through young days and old
And as I stand, a mere mortal, I regard life at Heaven's gate

Having fallen in Love, consumed by Hate, the death of me was Fate
