This is a poem about the end of a long day and the frustrations of a relationship.
I come home

It's been a long day.

You start to yell,

And I turn away.

"I love you's" ignored.

Hugs nearly cleared away.

You scream and carry on,

Letting your feelings fly away.

"This is wrong and so is this!"

You point and shout real loud.

I don't know what I did wrong,

But it obviously isn't allowed.

The stress level is sky-rocketing,

And war is declared.

We hit the ground a running,

Ignoring threats of beware.

Not welcome in my own house,

I begin my retreat to the door,

Thinking maybe I will just go,

Leave and not return for more.

You plead out your apologies,

Beg for me to come back,

But deep down I know,

You've just been run through the guilt rack.
