quick and simple poem about death
There once was a man
who lived in a casket
surrounded by dirt
and filled with maggots

He was sad and lonely
living in the ground
for noone heard his screams
or his moaning, groaning sounds

Lying in the darkened box,
he wondered what went wrong
he didn't know how he got there
as more time drifted along

He was filled with memories
floating inside his head
As he thought he was slowly dying,
he never realized he was already dead.
