Just some thoughts.
Snowy White Clouds

Snowy, white clouds grace the blue sky so pure ~
both taken for granted from this side I'm on ~
drifting aimlessly while holding a different meaning for each of us.

Freedom floats in an obscure manner, only as far as the taunting barbed-wire fence ~
then sailing on outward ~
dragging every strand of alluring essence with it ~
further away from those who appreciate them most.

200 feet and a window made of plexiglass separate two souls, longing ~
yearning for just one more God-given chance to taste the sweetness of life ~
of love that was previously dismissed so non-chalantly.

An invisible bond hangs on almost tortured by thoughts of hopelessness ~
helpless to the wants and needs of those who inevitably live each day with regret ~
compromised by life-altering mistakes.
