Think twice, what was here once may not be again.
This book
Pages turned
Blank, white, clean
Pages turned
Pages empty
The pages I continue to turn
The pages remain the same. As though unturned
Turn, and turn
They continue to remain unchanged
Has the story ended?
Had it ever begun?
To these questions I wish an answer
I fear they will never be.
Pain assumes us.
Fire consumes us
Dreams can only fade away.
